Meydan One

As a self-contained metropolis, and home to 83,000 residents, Meydan One incorporates the latest in environmentally smart technology, creating the ultimate destination for residents and visitors alike.

Meydan One consists of the world’s tallest residential tower, a mall with a retractable skylight, 2,050 hotel rooms and suites, the world’s longest indoor ski slope at 1kilometre long, 484,376 square feet of office spaces, a 1,829,865 square feet central park, and much more. The location alone is a major strategic asset, situated on the confluence of major highways, surrounded by lush natural features, and linked directly to the Arabian Gulf by a man-made waterway.

Meydan One’s four-kilometre navigable waterway will enable residents and visitors to enter the Marina straight from the Arabian Gulf, with berths available for yachts and power boats of all sizes. Visitors also have easy access to Dubai One Tower, Meydan One Mall, and the Grand Plaza, by walking across a scenic bridge or by taking a convenient water taxi. Thus, allowing them to enjoy the facilities of the exclusive Yacht Club Restaurant and the Marina View Lounge.

As the official civic plaza of Dubai, the Grand Plaza will also be the meeting place for the Meydan One residential community. The Grand plaza will have the capacity to host up to 30,000 people, and be home to a floating stage for concerts and events. It will also feature Meydan One Mall fountains, fronted by a dynamic boardwalk with extensive restaurants and cafés offering residents and visitors an exquisite experience.

The infrastructure and design of the plaza helps to provide the community with a place where different types of events can be held. Civic gatherings, UAE National Day celebrations, concerts, , art festivals, and fashion shows, are but a handful of spectacles the plaza can and will accommodate.

Boasting two enormous wave pools, Meydan One Water Park is Dubai’s latest distinctive attraction. The water slide takes passengers on a white-knuckle ride through a series of flumes and funnels, before blasting them into the Flood Plain, a massive South Seas inspired lagoon. For the truly adventurous, there’s The Dip that dunks the diver into the Crystal Lagoon.

The Meydan One Heritage Village is made up of 430,556 square feet of cultural, historical, and recreational space. Providing visitors with an insightful perspective on the most important handcrafts, traditions, cultural and social customs of the various regions in the UAE.

The Heritage Museum will exhibit and track the development and history of the UAE and its people. Whereas, at the Bedouin Tent, visitors will be able to experience life in the Emirates as it used to be while they enjoy sample local delicacies at the food and beverage outlets, for a holistic outing experience.

Meydan One Park has allocated space for people to partake in many extreme sports. The park will include a rock climbing wall, an area for skateboarding, BMX parks, jogging trails, and biking trails, all of which sport enthusiasts and visitors will enjoy.
